- 小儿夜惊是指1岁以内的哺乳婴儿，因寒、热、受惊等而致的夜间定时啼哭，甚则通宵达旦为主要特征的一种病症。儿童夜惊是儿童的睡眠行为异常，表现为入睡后突然惊醒坐起，呈恐怖状且喊叫，同时可有极端恐惧的自主神经和行为改变的睡眠障碍。
