- 月经过多的定义是连续数个月经周期中月经期出血量多，但月经间隔时间及出血时间皆规则，无经间出血、性交后出血、或经血的突然增加。临床上以出血时间与基础体温（BBT）曲线对照，将有排卵型功能失调性子宫出血分为月经量多与经间出血两类。
