- 丹毒（erysipelas）是一种累及真皮浅层淋巴管的感染，主要致病菌为A组β溶血性链球菌。诱发因素为手术伤口或鼻孔、外耳道、耳垂下方、肛门、阴茎和趾间的裂隙。皮肤的任何炎症，尤其是有皲裂或溃疡的炎症为致病菌提供了侵入的途径。轻度擦伤或搔抓、头部以外损伤、不清洁的脐带结扎、预防接种和慢性小腿溃疡均可能导致此病。致病菌可潜伏于淋巴管内，引起复发。
